The reliable backup goalkeeper made a good save from Patrick Bamford to maintain the clean sheet at 1-0.

VICTOR LINDELOF – 8
An impressive display from the birthday boy. Made a brilliant run out from the defence that created a goalscoring opportunity for Rashford.
MARCOS ROJO – 7
Wasn’t troubled much. A confident performance, which involved some fancy keepy-uppys.
SCOTT MCTOMINAY – 8
A good display in central midfield. Combined well with Pogba, and his easy pass set up Rashford’s goal.
PAUL POGBA – 8
Leeds’ man-markers couldn’t stop him from controlling the game from his deep-lying playmaker role. His phenomenal pass to Wan-Bissaka made the opening goal possible.
JUAN MATA – 6.5
Complimented United’s young attack well, and looked a lot more comfortable in the number 10 position.
MASON GREENWOOD – 7
Bagged a poacher’s goal to open the scoring. Positioned himself well and made smart runs. Looks an interesting prospect for the season to come.
