Manchester United registered their third win from three pre-season games on Saturday, as they beat Inter Milan in impressive fashion despite the scoreline reading 1-0.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer fielded what looked like his first-choice starting lineup for the opening hour of the game, and the entire side was replaced by a brand new team after the 60-minute mark.

Here’s how the Red Devils fared during the friendly encounter:

DAVID DE GEA – 6
Had a few nervy moments from crosses coming into the box, in what was his first pre-season appearance.

AARON WAN-BISSAKA – 8
Man of the match. The Englishman was one of United’s best attackers, and certainly their best defender. His slide tackles were appreciated with roars from the entire stadium.

AXEL TUANZEBE – 7
Was a staunch presence in defence. Calm on the ball. Made a few good interceptions.

VICTOR LINDELOF – 7
Was robbed off another potential assist following a marauding run, as Daniel James slotted the ball wide. Subbed post a minor injury scare.

LUKE SHAW – 6.5
Attacked well, but failed to contribute much directly.

NEMANJA MATIC – 6
Covered the backline and passed well. Movement appeared slow and rusty. His header from a corner hit the post.

PAUL POGBA – 7
Had a few bright moments that baffled the Inter defence and amazed the crowd.

DANIEL JAMES – 5
Struggled on the right wing. Missed two great chances.

JESSE LINGARD – 6
His smart movement caused problems. Had a decent shot saved.

ANTHONY MARTIAL – 6.5
Dribbled skillfully, and created a good chance for Lingard. Kept swapping positions with Rashford to confuse the Inter defence.

MARCUS RASHFORD – 6
Inter found it difficult to deal with his pace. Struggled to make much happen otherwise.

Subbed on for Lindelof. Steady at the back.

SERGIO ROMERO – 6
Barely had anything to do.

DIOGO DALOT – 6
Offered an outlet down the right.

ERIC BAILLY – 7
Maintained the clean sheet with his no-nonsense defensive style.

ASHLEY YOUNG – 6
On the receiving end of boos, which sums up how a majority of the Manchester United fanbase rates him.

SCOTT MCTOMINAY – 6
Pinged a few decent long passes.

FRED – 6
A good first pre-season appearance. Nutmegged an opponent, which pleased the supporters.

ANDREAS PEREIRA – 6
Energetic. Booked for a revenge tackle.

JUAN MATA – 6
Received cheers for a silky first-touch control. Complemented the attack.

TAHITH CHONG – 8
An immense threat down the left. Created goal-scoring opportunities, and won a lot of fouls. Subbed off due to injury late in the game.

MASON GREENWOOD – 8
Scored an amazing goal. Could have doubled his tally, but unluckily hit the post. His 360-roulette skill to deceive Skriniar was another crowd-pleaser.

ANGEL GOMES – NA
Came on too late for the injured Chong.
