As the transfer window inches closer to its completion for Premier League sides, the reports of the ins and outs are beginning to take shape.

Sagas that were murmured all through the summer are in various stages of completion and at the same time deals that seemingly sprung up out of nowhere over the weekend are now believed to be in serious hopes of entering the realms of reality.

Now, it is the potential departure of Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United that has taken a sharp turn.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, Romelu Lukaku has agreed to a deal with Juventus.

The Belgian striker is believed to have spoken with Maurizio Sarri and has found the notion of playing as a false nine next to Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin quite appealing.

The report also adds that the entire deal now depends on whether or not Paulo Dybala moves to Old Trafford, as United want the business to be a player-swap one. In that regard, it is also stressed that the Argentine forward would very much like to remain with the Old Lady.

This is of course quite disastrous for Antonio Conte and Inter Milan’s season-long pursuit for Lukaku and the fact that Juventus are the frontrunners will hurt even more.

As of now, it is unclear as to whether or not Inter will view this as a last-ditch attempt to pay the full €83.5 million that United want for the striker, as they have never risen above the €65 million mark, as per the report.

Precious little time remains in the window and it is clear that United will favor the Juventus deal as they’ll receive a highly-rated, commercially appealing forward in return which saves them the woe of hunting for a replacement.
