Juventus Want €20m Plus Lukaku In Exchange For Dybala
Manchester United’s transfer news has been blowing up quite immensely over the course of the past twenty-four hours. This isn’t the traditional approach that the Red Devils have stuck to, with the club preferring to get their deals done early and secretively, deploying many red herrings.
However, as deadline day inches ever closer, the club is expected to make a string of signings to completely reinforce their lineup.
While it is primarily the arrivals that are forming the crux of the news at Old Trafford, the exits are also an issue to fret about. Even then, one saga may surprise all.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, United are put in an interesting spot with regard to the departure of Romelu Lukaku. Juventus are now in a pole position to acquire the Belgian striker, posing a better offer than Inter Milan, who have been summer-long pursuers.
According to it, Paulo Dybala is the factor affecting the deal. United are interesting in acquiring him but the deal will not be a straight swap. Juventus value the Argentine forward to be worth €100 million which means that the Mancunian giants will have to dish out the extra €15-20 million given their own valuation for Lukaku.
This puts Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and company in an interesting position as the issue with Inter was not receiving enough money. However. Dybala is being painted as a talent that United eager to acquire given his goal-scoring knack and creative presence up-front, as well the commercial appeal he carries.
The entire affair hinges on Dybala who is reportedly keen on understanding his potential role under Maurizio Sarri before making a decision on his future.
However, whether or not this is an approach that the club will take still remains unclear. Worst of all, not enough time may remain in the window to negotiate the finer points. Earlier reports had also claimed that Lukaku had agreed to a deal with the Old Lady.
