Juventus Willing To Offer Both Dybala And Mandzukic For Lukaku

Manchester United’s transfer window has gotten quite hectic over the course of the past few days. Whether this is just final-week of the transfer window madness catching up or actual solid attempts made by the side remains to be seen.

The crux of the reports revolves around Romelu Lukaku’s potential exit. Juventus have free reign to tempt Lukaku to Turin and also have the tools at their disposal to ease the Mancunian giants.

However, now one claim, in particular, is painting quite an appealing prospect for United.

According to Sport Mediaset, Juventus are willing to offer Manchester United Paulo Dybala as well as either Mario Mandzukic or Blaise Matuidi in exchange for Romelu Lukaku.

Now the sheer amount of names involved in this claim does beg one to take it with a grain of salt. At the same time, it is understandable for the Serie A giants to clear their roster while filling a crucial spot all in one deal, particularly since they are targeting Champions League glory this season.

For United, both the provided options are attractive bets. In Matuidi, the club will receive an experienced replacement for Ander Herrera in their midfield.

Further, the Frenchman functioned well alongside Paul Pogba during their World Cup win in 2018. This will ease the pressure off the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay.

Then again, the pending Bruno Fernandes saga puts some doubt as to whether another pair of aged legs is required, akin to Nemanja Matic.

As for Mandzukic, the striker will be a direct replacement for Lukaku in the no.9 position and would also be a more tested option up-front.

However, the sheer brilliance with which Anthony Martial functioned in that spot during the pre-season friendly against Tottenham Hotspur does put even this approach in some doubt.
