Manchester United have expressed interest in Samuel Umtiti.
Multiple sources have lately hinted that the Red Devils are on the verge of sealing the deal for Leicester City star Harry Maguire.
Despite those claims, emerging reports from France suggest that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. are pondering over making a move for Barcelona centre-back Samuel Umtiti.
According to Le10 Sport, Manchester United are ‘very, very interested’ in bringing the France international to Old Trafford this summer.

The report adds that the Mancunian giants ‘would be ready’ to submit an offer in the region of €50 million for the 25-year-old.
However, that bid would fall just short of Barcelona’s valuation of the defender, as the Catalans have set a €60 million price tag on Umtiti.
It goes without saying that Umtiti’s transfer to the red half of Manchester heavily depends on United’s chances of finalising the transfer for Maguire.
If they do go for the former Lyon star, they may face competition from inter-city rivals Manchester City, who have also enquired about the player’s availability.
