Manchester United are preparing a shock eleventh-hour move for Inaki Williams.

Having reached an agreement with Inter over the transfer of Romelu Lukaku, the Red Devils now seem to be considering bringing in a late replacement.

The Premier League transfer window is set to close at 5pm on Thursday, meaning the Mancunians have less than 24 hours to recruit a new player.

As per latest reports emerging from Spain, the English outfit has identified a potential target, in the form of Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams.

According to El Chiringuito TV, Manchester United are quite “prepared to pay” the €88 million release clause in the player’s contract.

The Spaniard can play everywhere across the frontline, and he suits Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s philosophy a lot more than Lukaku ever did.

In the 38 appearances he made last season, the 25-year-old bagged 13 goals and four assist.

The update suggests that the Mancunians are ready to “throwing everything” at this transfer, as they are desperate to strengthen their attack before the window slams shut.
