Twitter Reacts As Romelu Lukaku Scores FOUR Goals On Inter Debut
Manchester United fans were overflowing with joy as their side were able to win 4-0 against Chelsea on the opening weekend of the Premier League, scripting the perfect start to their campaign.
The goals were plenty in that encounter and the attacking flourish with which the Red Devils went about was truly a radical change from the lethargic frontline that often dotted Old Trafford last season.
Most fans were able to point out the obvious change, attributing the absence of Romelu Lukaku to the dynamism in United’s fresh approach.
The Belgian striker was sold to Inter Milan on deadline day after a summer-long saga. Most fans were eager to see the former Everton striker depart as they felt his approach simple didn’t suit Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s attacking philosophy.
While that is certainly up for debate, there have been numerous surprises as to how Lukaku has begun his life in Italy.

While United were netting goals against Chelsea at Old Trafford, Lukaku was on a scoring mission of his own. The Belgian scored four goals for Inter Milan.
However, the quartet came during a friendly game against Virtus Bergamo, with the Italian side ending the encounter with an 8-0 win.
Needless to say, Twitter was riddled with reactions from fans about Lukaku’s goal-scoring prowess.

With his goal against Chelsea, Daniel James has now scored the same amount of goals against top six opposition as Romelu Lukaku did at Manchester United (1) #mulive pic.twitter.com/kkhm8XF5Vs

Most Manchester United fans maintained that they are better off without Lukaku, particularly after the manner in which Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial found the back of the net against Chelsea.
His four goals were further downplayed by the fact that Daniel James in his substitute debut for Manchester United equaled the amount of goals against the top six as Lukaku did last season.
Regardless, it seems likely that the clinical finisher will be a valuable asset for Inter and things will certainly get interesting if he ever crosses paths with his former club down the line.
