Manchester United seem adamant to power through this season with renewed vigor. The 4-0 win against Chelsea on Sunday was a clear indication that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men would be fighting hard to reinstate their position as the feared Red Devils of the Premier League.

The squad that the Norwegian gaffer relied on at Old Trafford consisted of a youthful front-line and multiple academy graduates, in tune with their traditional philosophy of promoting younger talent.

Solskjaer has promised that the newer faces will get ample opportunities to make a mark this campaign.

In particular, 17-year-old Mason Greenwood was singled out by the gaffer as a striker who is good enough to make a regular impact with the Mancunian giants.

However, the teenager may have got into a sour spat.

According to the Sun, Alexis Sanchez was fuming with Mason Greenwood during a recent training session. The teenager allegedly fouled the Chilean, who is still working hard to recover from a hamstring injury he picked up while on Copa America duty this summer. It appears that angry words were exchanged between the duo.

The report adds that Sanchez is desperate to regain fitness and has even taken to training separately from his teammates.

United Could Send Sanchez To Roma On Loan – Prepared To Pay Most Of His Wages

Sanchez was amongst the players that most supporters were hoping to see the last of at the start of the recently concluded transfer window.

The Chilean has been nothing but a disaster during his year and a half at Old Trafford and the massive wages he makes on a weekly basis has done more harm than good.

Solskjaer did stress that Sanchez was in his plans for the club this season. Specifically, a role change may be on the cards as the former Arsenal and Barcelona forward may be deployed as a striker in lieu of other options.
