Zidane Wants Real Madrid To Focus On Signing Pogba Over Neymar
Much was discussed about Paul Pogba during the summer transfer window. The bulk of the conversation surrounded whether or not the Frenchman would depart Manchester United.
Interest from Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane was evident while United remained adamant on their stance that Pogba would only be permitted to leave if they acquired an adequate replacement and if Los Blancos complied with their enormous transfer fee.
With two games down in the Premier League, Pogba has made a mixed impact. In the enormous 4-0 win against Chelsea, the World Cup-winner was an all-round creative presence.
However, in the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the fact that he missed out on the penalty that could have won United the game has overshadowed his other contributions.

The European window is still open and Madrid can still technically complete a move for the Frenchman.
According to L’Equipe (via MEN), that is precisely what Zinedine Zidane wants. The French gaffer has allegedly told the higher-ups at the Bernabeu to prioritize the possible acquisition of Pogba over that of Neymar Jr.
The report does add, however, that Madrid are more likely to make headway into signing Neymar from PSG than in convincing United to let go of Pogba.
