Ryan Giggs Makes Huge Daniel James Claim After Unstoppable Goal For Wales

Daniel James was on the scoresheet yet again as Wales succeeded in defeating Belarus. The 21-year-old’s brilliant curler was the only goal of the fixture and was lauded immensely by supporters of his club Manchester United.

Since being purchased from Swansea City in the summer, James has been in impeccable form, netting thrice in his first four games with the Red Devils.

The goal for his nation was another superb one and has further aided comparisons to be drawn with his international manager and United legend Ryan Giggs.

Giggs himself had strong words of appreciation for James, stating: “He’s one of those players, you know what he’s going to do, but you can’t stop it.”

These comments are in line with other comparisons being drawn between Arjen Robben and James. The Dutch winger had his same formulaic approach that most defenders were fully aware of but were powerless to do anything about. The Welsh winger seems apt to do the same.

Giggs goes on to add: “There are so many goals (he’s scored) like that. He can go either way. Early on when I saw DJ, just like any young winger, there can be that improvement in the final ball and scoring more goals, but he’s doing that. To do what he’s done at the start of the season is amazing.”

The gaffer also opined that the youngster must now maintain his consistency.

He added: “But I’ve got no doubts that will happen because he wants to be the best.”

Despite the goal that James has been netting for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, the Red Devils have only one win to their name in four games. This early spell of poor form has already set the warning bells tolling.

United next face Leicester City on the 14^th of September and fans will be hoping for another splendid performance from Daniel “The Flash” James.
