Inter are considering a move for Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic.
Having signed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez in the summer, the Italian giants now seem eager to complete a hattrick of signings from the Manchester club.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A outfit is set to make a move for the Serbian international in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The report suggests Inter will offer Matic a three-year deal, with a wage packet around €5 million per year.
However, the transfer will only go through if the Red Devils are willing to let the playe leave for a “very small” transfer fee.
The 31-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the Old Trafford club, despite the shortage of midfield players at manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s disposal.
In fact, Matic has been linked with an exit from the Mancunian club for quite some time, but a transfer has failed to materialise thus far.
The Serb could see a change in fortunes at the turn of the year, however, especially with Antonio Conte heavily interested in reuniting with his former Chelsea star.
