Things turn sour for Jason Sancho at Borussia Dortmund as the player now feels a sense of betrayal after recent incidents.

The Englishman followed up with his stunning breakthrough season with 5 goals and 9 assists in 17 appearances this season. Even as a teenager, Sancho has established himself as a starter for a European giant.

However, things haven’t exactly been easy for the Man City product this term as his contributions on the pitch got overshadowed by 2 incidents that has left him dejected.

First, the winger was fined a whopping £86,000 after failing to report back to training on time after the international break back in October. Following this, the England international was harshly substituted off at the 36th minutes against Klassiker rivals Bayern Munich.

Unfortunately, things don’t end there as boss Lucien Favre threw his man under the bus after publicly admitting the substitution was a result of him deeming the 19-year-old’s performance poor rather than due to an injury or any tactical reasons. The Dortmund boss failed to keep his emotions at bay after his side’s 4-0 defeat.

This clearly did not sit well with the youngster, who according to the Atheltic, has been left feeling ‘humiliated, scapegoated and unprotected by his employers.’ It’s only natural to feel so as any player expects to be protected by his manager in the eyes of the media. Especially as a teenager, this has clearly affected him.

Naturally, the player’s camp also share the feeling with them reportedly insisting he is being ‘unfairly used to shoulder much of the blame’ to the German side’s poor start to the campaign.

With the Borussia outfit sitting sixth on the able, 5 points off leaders and derby rivals Borussia Monchengladbach, fans have started to turn on Favre and believe he is the root of the club’s inconsistency.

On the other hand, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United have been closely monitoring the young winger. It was also reported that his former club City are also kept their interest in him whilst Chelsea have made no significant move so far.

Meanwhile, the ex-City star has refused to entertain any questions regarding is future so far and is said to be in no hurry to force a move out.
