Manchester United have presented the supporters with a spell of relief as they now have secured a victory in their Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday night.

Furthermore, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was satisfied with the results, believing his side has done well at Turf Moor. Nevertheless there was a single player who gained praises from the Norwegian manager, owing to his work rate in the middle of the pitch.

When asked to rate his display by BT Sport pundit Scholes following the match, the 46-year-old stated: “I think Fred’s improved a lot, and maybe two or three months ago people wouldn’t have said Burnley away is going to be a game for Fred.

“But he’s developed a lot, he’s confident and he’s a tenacious little midfielder, like you to be fair! A little bit quicker off the ground maybe.”

With the Brazilian now being glorified by the club gaffer, he showcased appreciable performance as Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay remained absent in the fixture.
