Daniel James Reveals Why He Avoids Marcos Rojo In Training
Daniel James has revealed a few hilarious training ground secrets during an interview on Sky Sports show Soccer AM.
The Welsh international arrived in the summer and has quickly settled at Manchester United. James has already registered 3 goals and 7 assists across all competitions but hasn’t found the net even once since August.
Nevertheless, the winger has settled well in English football and seems to be getting along very well with his teammates. This has allowed the youngster to let us in one some secrets about Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo from Carrington.
When quizzed about who the hardest player to go against in training, the Welshman said: “Got to be Marcos [Rojo].

“He’s Argentinean and hard as. He doesn’t pull out of anything.
“In training, there has been a few times where you’re coming head to head and you end up jumping out the way. You don’t want to be in the way of him.”
Seems like Rojo carries his rough game around during training just as much as he does on the field. It is no surprise that players would be weary of his sharp tackles.
Though the Argentinian has fallen well below the pecking order at United, it is positive to see he’s still pushing his teammates in training.
