With the winter transfer window progressing halfway through, the Red Devils are looking far ahead into the summer as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sent his personal scout to watch Declan Rice against Sheffield.

Showcasing decent perforamces for West Ham this season, the talented midfielder has started in all 21 games in the Premier League for his side.

Arriving at the club four years ago, the Englishman has now transitioned into a valuable asset for the English side owing to his contributions.

Nevertheless, it’s being reported recently that City are also revealing their interest in the 20-year-old.

Solskjaer, meanwhile, is planning to go all out in order to solidify his midfield by exploiting the two transfer windows of 2020, as the gaffer sent his trustworthy scout Simon Wells to watch the England international last weekend, as per the Daily Mail.

The youngster’s current contract at West Ham fastens him to London Stadium till 2024, although it might not stand in the way of the interest portrayed by the Red Devils.

Moreover, the fact that the Norwegian manager is looking forward to prepare a move for the Englishman in the summer following a reported proposal of £50 million for Bruno Fernandes recently shows that the Mancunian club is not affected by the financial factors.
