Chelsea Interested In Signing Sheffield Goalkeeper Dean Henderson
For much of the past few seasons, David De Gea was hotly pursued by the likes of Real Madrid, with the Spanish goalkeeper emerging as the best in the world.
However, ever since his future at Old Trafford appeared to be cemented, the shotstopper’s antics also appeared to have plateaued. In fact, some of the more heroic saves aside, De Gea appears to have been in a form of decline.
As such, many questions are being raised over his future at the club.
Having said that, it is another United goalkeeper who is the subject of much interest at the moment.
According to the ESPN, Dean Henderson has emerged onto the transfer radar of both Chelsea and PSG. The 22-year-old English keeper is loaned out to Sheffield by the Red Devils and the youngster continues to impress, thus meriting such a body of interest.

In fact, Henderson is presently tied with Liverpool’s Alison Becker for the top cleansheets kept this campaign, with nine a-piece. Sheffield also happens to be the second best defensive side in the League and are presently well above Tottenham and United in the 5th position, close on Chelsea’s heels.
The London Blues looking for a new keeper will certainly come as a surprise given the enormous sum they splashed on Kepa Arrizabalaga not too long ago, although the Spanish keeper hasn’t been in the best of form either.
While PSG are well and truly capable of offering Henderson a decent contract, it is clear that his eyes are set on that coveted spot at Old Trafford, one that he has been dreaming off since his childhood.
Incidentally, the same report also suggests that the Red Devils are mulling over offering him a fresh contract in a bid to ensure his association of the club till the time is fit for him to be included.
