Mason Greenwood has registered yet another goal in the Man Utd kit, as they thwart away Watford by securing a victory in the Premier League fixture.
The win has particularly reflected on the table, lifting the Red Devils up to the 5th position, just three points off Chelsea.
The 3-0 scoreline showcased goals from Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Greenwood, with the first one being scored in the first half from a spot kick. The penalty was taken by the club’s January signing and he bulged the back of the net with ease, as the goalkeeper took off to the other side of the post.
The final goal was absolutely stunning as Greenwood smashed the ball into the top left corner after laying out the ball wide to Fernandes and receiving it back with no lag whatsoever.
Including the game against Watford, the Englishman has made 21 domestic appearances for the Red Giants this season, scoring five goals in the Premier League. Accordingly, the teenager has been bagging a lot of praises from the supporters this term.
Although the starlet was rather quiet in the first half, he was sensational in the second, and sealed off the victory with a decent goal in the last 15 minutes of the fixture.
The 18-year-old’s contributions and effort for the English club have been seen highly of by the fans, which is evident enough from the tweets that get surfaced on Twitter.
Subsequently, the social media have been flooded with the reactions of Mancunian fans filled with praises for the youngster, following the Watford game.
This is a special thing. The fact that we expect Greenwood to score in those positions tells us three main things (amongst others):
• his decision making in a one-on-one is good
• his ability to create a shot on either foot is excellent
• his finishing is great https://t.co/82iaaFYUr1

Greenwood’s finishing is mint. Doesn’t always get involved but 90% of time his strikes are on target.

He's not even the best finisher at his club. Greenwood is miles ahead in finishing than this Baguette Glenn Murray https://t.co/nxHs5ndB3f
