Showing him around the Carrington training complex last week, Manchester United are trying everything up their sleeves in the hopes of securing Jude Bellingham’s signature before any other club takes the initiative.

As per the latest reports of Evening Standard, the Mancunians are desperately trying to win the race for the 16-year-old to make possible a transfer deal over the summer.

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, the club had enforced updated safety measures to fend off any likely threats to the club insiders. The training complex, implemented procedures such as restricting access to the primary training areas to just players and significant staff members, which reportedly used to work only on invitation basis.

Regardless, Bellingham and his family were given a tour of the very private location last Monday despite the fear caused by the widespread pandemic. United’s persuasive attempt on the teenager thus has attracted quite a lot of attention, as the club appears keen on signing the young talent.

It is understood that the Red Devils have been trying to land the Birmingham City star since January, although the efforts weren’t able to produce anything in the end except for mere speculations. The English club nonetheless, have reportedly accumulated a package of £20 million to rope in the midfielder after much contemplation currently.

Expecting to spend in the region of £30 million to finalise the transfer, the report adds that the deal also contains numerous add-ons which can be triggered in accordance with his performance for the Old Trafford outfit if he ends up there.

Although the potential midfielder has visited United, the Premier League side faces fierce competition from Borrussia Dortmund and a few domestic rivals for his signature.

Moreover, considering the fact that Birmingham had given the starlet the permission to talk to any clubs, it’s still uncertain as to whether the Red Devils could convince him of a fruitful future at Old Trafford.
