How Paul Pogba And Bruno Fernandes Linked Together For The First Time
Fans of Man United have just under a week to wait for their side to resume regular football. Completing their Premier League gameweek will be on the cards as they face off against Tottenham Hotspur on June 19.
In preparation for resumption, most sides have been holding regular training sessions as well as closed-door friendly matches.
United were involved in a pair of such fixtures against West Bromwich Albion and the results involved a much-awaited sight.
The first game between the two sides saw Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes share a midfield pitch at last. The two maestros were in action and footage from the game shows supporters precisely what this pairing is capable of.

However, the midfield partnership didn’t immediately translate into results as United in fact ended up losing that game 2-1 to the Championship side. Incidentally, Bruno Fernandes was United’s sole goal scorer with a penalty kick.
However, their midfield nexus was certainly an excellent one, as opined by Simon Stone:
Told Pogba and Bruno Fernandes looked quite good together yesterday. Interesting to see how OGS intends to fit them in together on Friday.

Fans will be eager for more such action once regular games resume. However, the onus is now on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to craft this partnership in a manner that the best of both their abilities adds to the club’s ethos.
Long-range will once more be a threat from the Old Trafford outfit as both Pogba and Fernandes have a penchant for attempting shots and assists from afar. It will be interesting to see just how much the duo will add to United’s hopes for the remainder of the season.
