Twitter Reacts As Bruno Wins Premier League POTM Award For The Second Straight Month
Manchester United made an excellent choice in signing Bruno Fernandes in the winter transfer window and the Portuguese midfielder is now paying due dividends with his impact at the side.
During the Red Devils’ 3-0 win over Aston Villa, the former Sporting man was yet again involved in two more goal contributions, scoring one via a penalty and then assisting Paul Pogba’s goal in the second half. Those numbers put him straight up there with regard to Premier League history in goal contributions.
However, his new League has also showered yet another award on him.
Bruno Fernandes has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for the second month in a row.
This is evidence of the pure impact that he has made to the side that his efforts have been clearly the best in the country beating across several other hard-working and talented players in the post-lockdown weeks.
Twitter was riddled with reactions to the announcement, as fans of the maestro couldn’t hold in their delight.

It certainly appears that awards just find their way to Fernandes not unlike his special passes to forwards. Apart from such accolades, he is also a regular recipient of the Man of the Match honor. What makes his mindset even special is even when he isn’t playing at his best game, which has been the case on a few occasions in the recent past, he is clearly frustrated with himself and even then the numbers are somehow impeccable.
Be it through penalties or in assists, these goal contributions all point to a high-performing player who could easily transform the League with United in the years ahead.
Fans will now be eagerly hoping for him to be consistent with his numbers.
