Paris Saint-Germain Willing To Pay €120m To Sign Marcus Rashford
Paris Saint-Germain have made Marcus Rashford their top priority target this summer.
The Manchester United man has been in electric form this season, having registered 21 goals and 10 assists across all competitions. Rashford has proven himself as a left-winger and shown his level with consistency this time around.
Which is why PSG’s interest makes complete sense. According to the Independent, the French outfit are ready to pay upwards of €120 million for the Englishman.
The strength of this interest has its roots in PSG’s boss Thomas Tuchel. It is said that the German highly rates the forward and believes people in England “don’t realise how good a player Rashford actually is”.
Moreover, Tuchel values the England international’s versatility as it suits his side’s ever-changing attacking structures. It is believed that the former Dortmund boss expects the United academy product to complement Kylian Mbappé and Neymar Jr. very well.
Further, there is a feeling that the winger could be Mbappé’s replacement should Real Madrid manage to snatch him away.
On the other hand, the youngster’s camp is thought to be open to listening to offers from the Ligue 1 giants.
However, the 22-year-old has a strong relationship with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and United, his boyhood club. Even if Tuchel’s side manage to convince the English outfit to sell, convincing the player himself might prove to be a bigger challenge.
With Solskjaer clearly building his team around his young front-three, it would definitely take a miracle and a half to get the Red Devils to believe that parting ways with their starlet is a good idea.
Nevertheless, PSG are known for pulling off extraordinary deals, so this interest may materialise if they play their cards right.
