United Fans React After Diogo Dalot’s Worldclass Assist And Goal For Milan
It’s an inspiring moment for football enthusiasts to watch a team making an explosive impact chiefly with young players. And that’s the case with AC Milan this season, a club which is currently showcasing great potential and results.
3-0 was the scoreline last night, as the Italian side cruised through their Europa League clash against Sparta Prague. In the fixture, Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao, and Diogo Dalot were the ones who managed to get their names registered on the scoresheet.
Nevertheless, Dalot stole the spotlight overall last night with a brilliant assist and a goal coming off the youngster. The second goal scored by Leao came off a delicious cross by the Portuguese with the outside of his boot, which found the goalscorer perfectly.
Following the assist, Dalot himself smacked the ball into the net minutes after the hour mark, with a low shot into the bottom corner after latching onto Bennacer’s long ball.
Intriguingly though, the Man United loanee’s performance last night received reactions from the supporters of the club who left him out for loan and AC Milan faithful, evenly.

Fantastic assist + goal for Diogo Dalot with AC Milan in Europa League match (playing as left back!). Great debut in San Siro.
He’s joined Milan on simple loan – #MUFC refused to include the buy option because they’re convinced Dalot will be a top full back in the future. #UEL

Diogo Dalot has a goal and an assist tonight for AC Milan already. So good to see him proving himself and starting well. He’s still got so much more to give at United!

It’s a pity players like Diaz and Dalot aren’t owned outrightly by Milan, I fear we will only make them better for their various teams to take them back. Great talents!!!

Dont get me wrong Diego Dalot is a fantastic right-back.
But he could never pocket Neymar and Mbappe.
He isn’t Aaron Wan-Bissaka 🏴 pic.twitter.com/DX1DvYtO3h

While it is true that the 21-year-old has a lot of potential, the starlet had been struggling at Old Trafford to make his mark. Accordingly, whether the decision made by Solskjær to loan out the talented winger deserves to be scrutinized, is uncertain.
Furthermore, the new club for the Portugal U-21 international has proved to be the best soil for his growth, with the Italian side utilising the starlet’s potential in the best way possible- giving him and other youngsters the right atmosphere to collaborate with each other.
Regardless, while the Milan supporters wish for their club to seal a permanent deal with the full-back, a set of Mancunian fans on the other hand eagerly wait for the loan period to culminate for the youngster to return to Old Trafford.
