Man Utd came back from two goals down against Southampton on Sunday and became the first side in Premier League history to win four consecutive away games despite trailing in each fixture.

Though, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be worried about conceding early goals away from home, the frequent comeback wins also point out towards the mentality the Norwegian, who played for over 11 years under the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, has instilled in his own side.

After replacing Jose Mourinho, the big challenge – apart from the obvious lack of quality – was to fix the issue of lack of character and desire amongst the players of his former club. His signings at Old Trafford also hint at the same idea.

The Red Devils’ mentality was on full show at St Mary’s Stadium, with summer arrival Edinson Cavani coming off the bench and scoring a brace. Bruno Fernandes, meanwhile, opened the scoring.

However, more than the former Sporting Lisbon captain’s two-goal contribution, his reaction after Man Utd’s equaliser is being talked about on social media.

Fernandes’ deflected shot found the back of the net via Cavani’s diving header in the 74th minute.

As the former PSG man ran to the corner flag to celebrate his second Premier League goal, the Portuguese midfielder was seen instructing his teammates to return from the celebration in order to restart the play quickly and find the winner.

Thanks to his urgency and smart bit of play to find Marcus Rashford, who then delivered a cross for Cavani’s near-post header in the 92nd minute, Man Utd secured all three points against Southampton.
