Manchester United shock Leeds as Scott McTominay scores a brace in the first 3 minutes after kick-off.

The visitors face United in a league fixture for the first time in almost 17 years and it seems to have gone in the favour of the latter.

Though a tough fixture was expected due to the reputation of Marcelo Bielsa and his side, the Red Devils have hacked them within the first half as the two sides headed into the tunnel for the half-time break with the scoreline 4-1 in favour of the hosts.

However, the highlight of the match so far has been McTominay who opened the scoring with one of the cleanest strikes he will ever take in his career.

A pass from Bruno Fernandes was taken very confidently by the Englishman from some distance with the ball ending up in the bottom-right corner. The midfielder then quickly followed that up with his second just 2 minutes later as Anthony Martial’s clever pass combined well with the 24-year old’s smart run.

It is quite rare for the United academy graduate to find the net, so scoring in quick succession sparked quite a few reactions on Twitter.

The Scottish midfielder’s goals set the tone for the game as his side established dominance and stayed in near-perfect control throughout the first half.

Fernandes and Victor Lindelof’s goals further extended their lead. It would be a very interesting situation should the central midfielder managed to complete a hat-trick on top of this brilliant performance.

Although David De Gea could not keep Liam Cooper’s effort out, it seems as if that goal will hardly make a dent on the confidence Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side boast currently.
