Man Utd progressed to the EFL Cup semi-final as they triumphed over Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday.
Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial were on target on the night, giving no chance for the hosts to give a reply. Although both goals came quite late, the Red Devils walked away with a very decisive victory at the end of the day.
The former Paris Saint-Germain man netted his third goal for Man Utd; yet another game-winning goal. But apart from the clinical finish, fans loved what came out during the goal celebration.
Eric Bailly and Cavani were seen sharing a rather amusing moment when the team was huddled around the striker following his goal. The defender seemed to remind his teammate to do his signature bow-and-arrow celebration, which fans found hilarious.
Bailly is known for being a very positive and somewhat of a class-clown sort of personality amongst the squad. The central defender’s antics – often involving his teammates – on social media is something fans enjoy.
The Ivorian is loved by the supporters for this trait of his and clearly it is helping him forge friendships with his colleagues; although the Uruguayan seemed like a very unlikely candidate to befriend.
The 33-year-old on the other hand seems to be settling in well since his free transfer from PSG. With 3 goals and an assist to his name in the limited minutes he has been allotted, the lethal forward seems to be turning out to be a smart signing for Man Utd who will be hoping he stays reliable for the rest of his time at Old Trafford.
