Jadon Sancho Pushing For Transfer – Man Utd Want To Sign Him Before Euro 2020
Man Utd will make another attempt this summer to sign Jadon Sancho who seems desperate to depart.
The Red Devils tried to sign the Englishman previously but were held off by Borussia Dortmund’s valuation of the player. Sancho was reportedly ready to make the switch, but United ultimately did not match the price-tag the Germans quoted despite him having already agreed personal terms with his suitors by that point.
However, according to Sky Germany, the Mancunians intend to bring the winger to Old Trafford before Euro 2020 commences in June. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might be looking to finalise all formalities before the tournament begins, and integrate the new signing into the squad right after the end of it.
Nevertheless, the report goes on to say that Dortmund will demand around €100 million this time around; which is significantly lower than previously quoted. It may be a figure the Premier League giants might be comfortable with paying up.
On the other hand, the playmaker is said to be rather disappointed that his representative Emeka Obasi failed to secure him a move to the red side of Manchester last summer, as per MEN. The report goes on to say that the England international is pushing Obasi to secure him an exit during the upcoming transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been a long-term target of the English outfit and they could secure him this summer, especially with him actively pushing for a transfer.
The wideman is an excellent goalscorer and a creator, which is something Man Utd miss currently as all creative burden is carried by Bruno Fernandes.
With the Europa League finalists already performing well, adding this balance to their squad might finally be what makes them title contenders.
