Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny amid Erik ten Hag’s aim to reshuffle his goalkeeping department this summer.
The United boss wants David de Gea to continue at Old Trafford. The Spaniard has been offered a new contract despite concerns over his tendency to falter in the clutch. The veteran was at fault for conceding avoidable goals against Sevilla and Manchester City in the Europa League and the FA Cup final respectively.
However, Ten Hag wants to bring in a new goalkeeper to challenge the 32-year-old. United have not provided De Gea any assurances over his role in the squad for next season and have also let go of Jack Butland, who joined Rangers on a four-year deal following the end of his short loan spell. The Crystal Palace loanee made zero appearances for United.

Juventus haven’t enjoyed a very good campaign, but the Poland international was once again a reliable presence between the sticks, making 40 appearances for the Old Lady.
Meanwhile, The Sun has claimed United are set to make a move for Everton star Jordan Pickford.
The England No 1 could land a Champions League club after playing a pivotal role in helping Everton avoid relegation from the Premier League. It is understood the Merseyside outfit may sell Pickford at around £30m.
