Mason Greenwood is attracting interest from home and abroad on the back of a prolific stint in Spain with Getafe.

Manchester United’s forwards have left a lot to be desired this season, with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund struggling to score consistently.

In Greenwood – who’s currently on loan at Getafe – United still have a talented finisher on their books. However, he’s unlikely to feature for the Red Devils again owing to off-the-pitch issues. As such, his parent club are actively exploring options to permanently cut ties with the academy talent.

Premier League clubs interested in Manchester United talent Mason Greenwood

Mason Greenwood has found his scoring boots in Spain, scoring 10 goals and assisting six times for Getafe this term. As expected, his form has led to plenty of interest in his services.

According to the Telegraph, at least two Premier League clubs have enquired about the versatile forward. However, it is added that the striker is more likely to move overseas if United decide to sell him this summer.

The likes of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Lazio have all been keeping tabs on the 22-year-old star. It is claimed that clubs in Germany are also monitoring his situation.

Greenwood is contracted to United until the summer of 2025, with the English giants also holding an option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.

However, United are waiting for the right offer – believed to be in the region of £40-45 million – for Greenwood. Should they not receive such offers, the player may be sent on another season-long loan, albeit with an obligation to buy.

Getafe remain keen on extending his stay at the club.
