Aaron Wan-Bissaka may part ways with Manchester United, with talks ‘underway’ with Inter over his summer transfer.

Fullbacks have been an integral part of Manchester United’s DNA. In their last title-winning campaign with Sir Alex Ferguson, the Red Devils sustained attacking pressure for most of the season by using full-backs effectively.

In recent seasons, the two defensive wing spots have been plagued by injuries. While Luke Shaw has more or less cemented his efficacy, the injuries have spoiled the party more often than not. However, lately, both Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have emerged as key players in that area.

The Englishman, in particular, is most famous for his knack for making effective tackles, emerging with the ball at his feet and his opponent practically grovelling by the side.

Against City in the FA Cup final, the way he thwarted Jeremy Doku earned him plenty of plaudits from fans and pundits alike. However, his days of doing so at the Theatre of Dreams may come to an end this summer.

Manchester United negotiating with Inter for Aaron Wan-Bissaka – report

As per Tuttomercatoweb, Manchester United have been in talks with Inter Milan ‘for a few days’ over the possibility of selling Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

While the 26-year-old is clearly a top-class player with a specific valuable skill set, his purported valuation in this deal might surprise a few.

The report adds that Wan-Bissaka is valued at around 12 million euros (£10m). The former Crystal Palace star moved to Old Trafford for a fee believed to be in the region of £50 million.

This lowball figure does not seem to ally with other players of his caliber. More so, such a small transfer fee may not help too much in the context of FFP restrictions.

It is also understood that the full-back will be handed a three-year-long contract, with the option for a further year, at Inter.
