Juventus have expressed an interest in signing Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho, as per reports.

The Red Devils are currently on a roll in the ongoing summer transfer window. The new United hierarchy has already agreed a fee with Bologna for Joshua Zirkzee, while being right on the verge of striking another deal with Bayern Munich for defender Matthijs de Ligt.

As far as outgoings are concerned, the Old Trafford outfit has already parted ways with Girona-bound Donny van de Beek, whereas Mason Greenwood also appears set to leave his boyhood club and permanently join Marseille.

Meanwhile, the future of Jadon Sancho—a forward who spent the latter half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag—remains up in the air. However, that won’t be the case for long, if latest reports are to be believed.

Juventus keen to lure Sancho away from Manchester United

Earlier this week, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport had already shed light on Juventus’ interest in luring Jadon Sancho away from Manchester this summer.

Now, journalist Fabiana Della Valle (via UtdDistrict) has further indicated that the Serie A giants are exploring multiple ways of doing so.

Their first attempt could see Juve try to sign the England international on loan. However, this scenario will require Manchester United to agree to offload the forward temporarily yet again, and for the player himself to take a salary cut to complete this switch.

The second option could see the Old Lady outfit include Federico Chiesa in what could potentially become a swap deal.

The 26-year-old Italy international is in the final year of his current contract with Juventus, and is yet to sign an extension. That prospect seems unlikely as well, considering the forward is currently surplus to new manager Thiago Motta’s requirements.

With both wingers not viewed as a key part of their respective managers’ plans, this swap deal looks like one waiting to happen. However, the report adds that Erik ten Hag is still taking his time to rethink Sancho’s future.

Even if Sancho does depart from Old Trafford this summer, it will be interesting to see how keen the new Manchester United hierarchy are to replace him with a player deemed surplus to requirements at Juventus.
