Bayern Munich in talks to sign Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford
Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
Vincent Kompany has done well to shape his Bayern attack around Harry Kane, who continues to impress in Munich with his prolific return in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
However, heading into the summer, there are question marks over the futures of other cogs of Bayern’s frontline. In particular, Leroy Sane is due to become a free agent at the end of the season. Further, Serge Gnabry’s contract expires in the summer of 2026.
This uncertainty has led to the Bavarians exploring the transfer market to potentially reinforce their attack.
Bayern Munich want Marcus Rashford
According to Fichajes, Bayern Munich are interested in signing Manchester United loanee Marcus Rashford.
The Englishman is currently on loan at Aston Villa and has earned plaudits for his electric start in the Midlands, having already registered two assists in the Premier League. He has adapted well to Unai Emery’s setup.
The Bundesliga outfit are understood to be already working on securing his services once his loan spell at Villa ends. It is suggested that Rashford could move to Germany for an initial fee of £40m.

Further, it is understood that Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl is “personally overseeing the negotiations.”
Rashford and Kane have regularly linked up brilliantly for England, as the 27-year-old’s pace and runs open up space for Kane to find the ball in deeper areas before progressing the play. The same could work to great effect under Kompany.
United are not expected to pose a big hurdle in Bayern’s pursuit as Ruben Amorim is unlikely to include Rashford in his first-team plans. However, Villa could be a serious challenger as they have a buy option of £40 million.
