Twitter Reacts As Marcus Rashford Scripts A Late Win Over PSG…AGAIN

Manchester United may have found their new favourite away destination in Europe as they cruised to a 2-1 victory over PSG at the Parc des Princes.

The Champions League group stage game was an outstanding affair with both teams putting in the entertainment factor at their best. However, it was Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side that came out on top, looking nothing like the doomed outfit that may commentators and pundits lamented at just over two weeks ago.

United got the lead in a way that has become all too familiar to them with Bruno Fernandes converting a penalty, albeit a fate-gifted second one owing to a Keylor Navas error.

This was the way things seemed to stay until Anthony Martial headed in an own-goal from a PSG corner. There on, it was game on and it is quite fitting that Marcus Rashford scored the late winner in the 87th minute.

Fans had a good memory and recalled the historic night that Rashford had done the same in March of last year. Twitter was riddled with those reactions.

The 22-year-old Englishman whose fame off the pitch is heralded for all the right reasons too was certainly an active presence throughout the fixture. He could have easily added to his tally had he attempted certain shots on his own earlier rather than fizz them away into passes.

This is certainly an excellent addition to his late goal at Newcastle United in the Premier League too. In fact, Rashford may be getting all too comfortable leaving it until late to redeem his outfit.

Last campaign was a career-best tally for the Mancunian academy graduate and it seems certain that he is hungry to extend that much further this season.
