Di Marzio Provides Latest Update On Pogba’s Transfer To Manchester United

Juventus have rejected the latest offer made by Manchester United for their star midfielder Paul Pogba, according to the trusted Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

As per Di Marzio’s report, the reigning Italian Champions have rejected an offer worth €120 million from the Red Devils.

The offer consisted of an original fee of €110 million, with the remaining €10 million coming from bonuses. However, since the offer does not match the valuation Juventus have set on Paul Pogba, it has been downright rejected.

The Sky Sports journalist has revealed that the Pogba to Manchester United transfer will only take place if the Old Trafford club cough up and pay the demanded price, and meet Juventus’ conditions, with absolutely no discounts whatsoever.

The report further provides more details that have done nothing but landed another blow to United’s pursuit.

As per Di Marzio, the money Juventus will be using to secure the services of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli will not be coming from the funds they gain by the sale of Paul Pogba.

Instead, the Italian giants will provide the cash for the Higuain transfer by selling three of their squad players – Mario Lemina, Simone Zaza, and Roberto Pereyra. Moreover, the €30 million the Bianconeri received from the sale of Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid will also contribute to their transfer kitty for the summer.

In fact, the money received by the completed transfer of Morata, and the sale of the aforementioned players, will not only cover the Higuain deal, but also the completed signings of Miralem Pjanić, Marko Pjaca and Medhi Benatia.

So, to sum it all up, Juve have absolutely no need to part ways with Pogba, as they have enough monetary resources to survive this summer transfer window without suffering any losses.

Di Marzio concluded his report by stating that if Pogba does end up returning to Manchester, Juventus will simply stop selling the aforementioned players, and instead focus their attention on finding the right replacement for the Frenchman.
