Mason Greenwood is reportedly open to joining Juventus during this summer’s transfer window.
Greenwood has not played for Manchester United since 2022, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon despite his impressive stint at Getafe.
The 22-year-old moved to Spain to rejuvenate his stagnant career last summer and took little time to find his feet in La Liga, scoring eight goals and assisting six in 33 league outings. However, heading into the summer, his future is once again uncertain.
He is still on United’s books and on paper he is supposed to return to Carrington ahead of pre-season. Still, due to off-the-pitch issues, it is all but certain that he will not get any opportunity to train with his teammates.
Mason Greenwood willing to swap Manchester United for Juventus
Manchester United intend to sell Mason Greenwood, and on the back of his prolific spell in Spain, the versatile forward is also attracting interest from top European clubs, including Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
It seems Juventus have already made plenty of progress in their pursuit of the player who is tied to the Old Trafford outfit until 2025.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Metro), Greenwood has already said ‘yes’ to a proposed move to Serie A this summer. Meanwhile, the Old Lady are keen on finding an agreement with United.

The Premier League giants are thought to be willing to part ways with their academy product for a fee in the region of €35-40m.
Juventus, however, are confident they can negotiate a lower fee and are working to find ‘advantageous formulas’.
The Turin-based club might offer some of their players to convince United to lower their demands for Greenwood.
