Mustafi Says Yes To Arsenal Move
Schkodran Mustafi has agreed to join Arsenal, but no deal has been agreed between the two clubs yet, according to Sky Sports’ Sources.
Valencia defender Mustafi has been linked with a move to the Emirates for quite some time now, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is very keen on signing the 24-year old.
Arsenal are in a defensive crisis at the moment, after Per Mertesacker was confirmed to be out for up to five months with a knee injury, and his replacement, Gabriel Paulista, also suffered an ankle injury in their pre-season friendly win over Manchester City.
Despite reports claiming the Brazilian faces up to six to eight weeks on the sidelines, Gabriel posted an image on social media website Instagram, captioned: “Today I feel much better, is not a big problem.”

The Gunners kick of their Premier League campaign with a home game against rivals Liverpool on Sunday, and Wenger will be left sweating over his lack of options at the back.
Wenger also confirmed that fellow Frenchman Laurent Koscielny will miss the game against Liverpool, as he just returned to training on Wednesday, after an extended holiday due to his exertions at Euro 2016 with France.
Wenger has Callum Chambers and the inexperienced Rob Holding to call upon, but is desperate to sign a top quality defender as soon as possible.
Mustafi fits the bill perfectly, and reports in Germany claim that the 24-year-old has agreed to move to the Emirates, though no fee has been agreed between Valencia and Arsenal just yet.
The La Liga club value the German international at around £30 million, but the price may not be of concern to Wenger, who is desperate to avoid having to deal with a makeshift defense till the return of his first choice central defenders.
Mustafi is still training with Valencia, but Arsenal will hope to sit down and finalize a deal with the La Liga club for the transfer of the young center-back.
