Rumours Hinting At Conte’s Departure From Chelsea Are Fake, As Per Club Sources
Chelsea have denied the rumours that suggest they are set to sack new boss Antonio Conte, according to Sky Sports.
Antonio Conte took over the Chelsea job this summer, after leaving the managerial post of Italy’s national team.
He signed a 3-year contract with the Blues, and upon arriving, brought talented players like Michy Batshuayi, N’Golo Kanté, Marcos Alonso, and David Luiz along with him, making Chelsea the third highest spenders of the summer window in the process.
However, the London giants haven’t had the best of starts to their season under the Italian, and currently lie 7th in the Premier League table, after having won 4, lost 2, and drawn 1.
These mediocre results have given rise to rumours suggesting that Chelsea may end up sacking their new manager already, as club owner Roman Abramovich has no tolerance for mediocrity.

Furthermore, betting companies like SunBets, Betway, and Paddy Power all suspended the betting on Conte getting sacked from his position, thereby adding fuel to the fire.
But now, according to Sky Sports’ trusted source, Chelsea have no intention of parting ways with Conte just yet.
The source has further confirmed that no emergency meeting between owner Roman Abramovich and the club directors took place (as reported), and the news about the late-night discussions regarding Chelsea’s poor transfer business during the summer is false as well.
Along of Sky Sports’ report, an inside source from the football club has also told ESPN that these rumours about sacking are “utter nonsense”.
Therefore, it now looks very unlikely that Conte will actually be leaving his new club. If anything, the passionate manager will now be more determined than ever to prove his worth, and bring the title-winning glory back to Chelsea.
The Blues will next face Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday, and a win over the reigning English Champions would be the perfect reply from Conte to all his critics.
