Manchester United are all set to recruit one of Belgium’s best scouts, according to Belgian news outlet Het Belang Van Limburg.

New United boss Jose Mourinho has always been interested in bringing up talents from Belgium – something that’s clearly evident when looking at the Portuguese’s former club, Chelsea.

The Blues have managed to bring in some of the best Belgian talents to Stamford Bridge, such as Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois, and Romelu Lukaku, to name a few.

And now, it looks like Mourinho is ready to set up a similar kind of scouting network at the Old Trafford club, and to do so, the Special One is on the verge of recruiting Roland Janssen to his backroom staff.

Janssen, who currently works as the chief scout at KRC Genk, is regarded as one of the best scouts in Belgium, if not the best.

He was the man responsible for spotting the potential of De Bruyne and Courtois and bringing them to Genk’s Youth Academy, and Mourinho will be hoping his soon-to-be colleague emulates a similar kind of successful scouting at the Theatre of Dreams.

Janssen is all set to become one of the many high quality additions the Red Devils intend to make this season, so as to improve the quality of their Youth Academy, and get the club back to its habit of winning successive titles.
