West Ham Want Anthony Martial In Exchange For Dimitri Payet
Manchester United seem to have suffered a hindrance in their pursuit of West Ham United star Dimitri Payet.
Payet has become one of the most phenomenal players in the Premier League since joining the Hammers in 2015.
During the 2015-2016 season, the Frenchman played a huge role in helping them finish 7th in the Premier League table. He also scored 12 goals from 38 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Due to his performances, he has been linked with a move to several European giants, and Manchester United have been reported as frontrunners in the race for his signature.
However, as per the latest reports suggest, West Ham have now demanded Manchester United youngster Anthony Martial in exchange for Dimitri Payet.
In 2015, Louis van Gaal signed Anthony Martial from French club Monaco for a reported fee of £57.6m including add-ons. Martial had an impressive first season with the Old Trafford club, wherein he scored 17 goals from 49 appearances in all competitions.
But Martial has been struggling to replicate the same form this season under new boss Jose Mourinho. He has scored just 4 goals from 16 appearances this season, and faces difficulties to find a consistent place in Mourinho’s team.

Mourinho plans to spend heavily again in January, and Dimitri Payet is one of his top transfer targets. But the Portuguese will have to send Martial the other way to get his man, according to Le10Sport.
West Ham United, who currently sit 15th in the Premier League table with just four points above relegation zone, could certainly do with a bright young talent like Martial in the team.
