OFFICIAL: Leonardo Bonucci Extends Juventus Contract To 2021

Leonardo Bonucci has finally snubbed the advances of Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United to sign a new deal at Juventus.
The highly sought after Serie A defender has extended his contract by 12 months to 2021, just a year after he committed himself to a fresh five-year stay.

The 29-year-old revealed the news on his Twitter feed this morning. He wrote: “I renewed until 2021! I chose to the team where I became great among the great. Only one objective: to keep winning!”

The £60m-rated Italian was heavily linked with Manchester City last summer, with Etihad CEO Ferran Soriano even claiming he had personally called the Serie A champions in order to engineer a move.
Chelsea were also interested in signing the defender, but Antonio Conte will now have to shift his focus elsewhere.

Bonucci arrived at Juventus in 2010, and has since made 291 appearances for the Serie A leaders.
The Italy international has been an integral part of the successful Bianconeri team which has won five back-to-back Serie A titles, and is on course for a record-breaking sixth Scudetto next summer.
The center-back, who won his first league winners’ medal with Inter Milan in 2006, has also won the Coppa Italia three times, but is still not satisfied with what he has already achieved.
“We’re a lovely happy family. I’m so keen to get back in action and be available for the coach and my teammates and keep winning things for this club,” he stated after signing the new deal.
Bonucci will be geared up for that on Friday, when he bids to win a fourth Italian Supercoppa by beating AC Milan in Doha.
