Inter And AC Milan In Transfer Battle For Struggling Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini may finally put an end to his disappointing chapter at Manchester United by making a January switch to either AC Milan or Inter.

The Daily Mail claims the Belgian midfielder has informed his United teammates that he is pondering over a move away from Manchester next month, after losing his first-team place.

The struggling midfielder has started only one game in the past two months, and was even booed by angry United fans as he came off the bench during their 1-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur on 11^th December, just a week after giving away a late penalty which helped his former club Everton draw 1-1 at Goodison Park.

Fellaini was spotted in Milan on Monday with his twin brother Mansour, and it is believed that both the Milan clubs are still interested in the 29-year-old, after being heavily linked with him in the summer.

David Moyes signed Fellaini from Everton for £27.5 million on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2013, and he now has 18 months left on his United contract.

The Red Devils would reportedly prefer to sell him rather than a loan deal. And as per the latest rumours, Milan and Inter are both ready to afford his wage demands of £120,000-a-week, as the big Belgian has accepted that he has no future under Jose Mourinho.

Fellaini is not the only player who is facing a potential exit next month. United are in advanced talks with Everton to finalise the £24m sale of Morgan Schneiderlin, and Memphis Depay is also on the brink of a loan move to Goodison Park.
