PSG Leading The Race For Federico Bernardeschi
PSG have reportedly made contact with Fiorentina regarding a January move for Federico Bernardeschi.
TalkSPORT claim the Ligue 1 champions are now leading the race to snap up the talented forward. The news could come as a big blow to both Manchester United and Chelsea, who have been chasing the 22-year-old for a long time.
However, last week, several reports suggested that Bernardeschi was close to signing a new improved deal with Fiorentina. The Italian side are sitting in mid-table, and believe losing their influential forward could actually hamper their progress this season.

The Fiorentina man is more of a playmaker or winger, rather than a conventional No 9. He has excellent distribution and comfort on the ball, and has also been quite effective in front of goal so far this season.
Italian news outlet CalacioMercato claimed owner Andrea Della Valle has decided to offer Bernardeschi a bumper new deal in order to keep his prized asset. If that report turns out to be true, then the new deal would give the winger a significant increase on his £850,000-a-year wages.
The Italian’s agent, Beppe Bozzo, is said to have met the club officials last week and held positive talks over a possible renewal.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and United are both chalking out last minute plans to bolster their squads in January.
Antonio Conte’s boys are flying high in the league and have now won 12 matches on the bounce, while the Red Devils are improving step by step after a slow start to life under new boss Jose Mourinho.
