Gunners Ready To Battle Manchester United For Antoine Griezmann

Antoine Griezmann has been the most spoken about player in recent times, after rumours of him leaving Atletico Madrid have emerged strong and true, thus attracting immense attention from big teams all around the world of football.
However, a surprising new team to recently enter this category is Arsenal, who according to the Mail, are ready to fight current favourites Manchester United in order to sign the La Liga forward in a deal worth a whopping £85 million so as to trigger the player’s release clause.
In addition to this, Wenger and his club are ready to pay the player a staggering £250k-per-week wage bracket after reportedly failing to sign him last year, when he extended his Atletico contract until 2021.

In a tale of unexpected events, Diego Simeone is apparently ready to take Alexis Sanchez in place of Griezmann from the Gunners by offering him an inviting wage package of £225k-per-week, and the transfer deal being worthy of £35 million.
At the moment, United seem to be leading the race for probably the third best player in the world behind Ronaldo and Messi, and with Pogba acting as a supposed influencer, it will be a hard deal for Arsenal to break through and crack in front of their old Manchester rivals.
Pogba and Griezmann are best of friends, and have a brilliant chemistry while playing together for the French national side, and Griezmann has also expressed his interests to play alongside Paul at a club level, further hinting at a possible move.
