Bale Forcing Real Madrid To Make Him Club Captain Instead Of Ronaldo
Gareth Bale is reportedly fed up of playing under the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo, and has demanded Real Madrid to build a team around him.
Bale has had to enjoy the stardom under Ronaldo’s shadow since the very beginning of his Real Madrid career, after moving from Tottenham for £80 million in 2013.
The Wales attacker has even won over the fans by guiding the La Liga giants to two Champions League titles in three years. This season, he managed to score seven goals before being sidelined with an ankle injury in a Champions League match against Sporting Lisbon back in November.

As per the latest reports, it’s being believed that Bale has seen enough and desires to be Madrid’s show man, with Ronaldo recently struggling to maintain his usual sensational form.
Spanish publication Don Balon claim the 27-year-old is keen to replace Ronaldo as the star of the current squad. Furthermore, he is also pushing the Madrid board to make him the talisman and future club captain.

While Bale is desperate to become the main man at Real, Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are closely monitoring his situation in the Spanish capital, as both the clubs dream to snap him up.
Both Mourinho and Antonio Conte reportedly plan to sign Bale for £172 million at the end of the season. The interesting part of the story is both of thems are ready to make him the face of the team, just to tempt him back from Spain.
And if Madrid fail to hold on to their star performer, an outstanding Premier League return could be on the cards.
