Manchester United Will Save Zlatan’s Career: A Return Of Favour For Saving Them?
Old Trafford has had a positive feel around it this season with form, wins, and progress clearly evident signs in the team at the moment and the majority of credit of that happening must go down to the big Swede striker that they signed in 2016, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The player has been a revelation for the club, as he has netted 28 goals for the Red Devils so far, the highest in England across all competitions.
It thus comes as a saddening and worrying fact that after injuring his knee during the second leg Europa League knockout tie against Anderlecht on Thursday night, the 35-year-old might be out for the remainder of 2017, which could possibly mean curtains on such an illustrious and accomplished career.

However, United being the massive club they are, and realising the services and contributions provided by Zlatan over the past season, have offered to provide medical aid and services in order to bring the striker back to match fitness as soon as possible, and help him finish his football by spending the last few months and games out on the pitch, where he rightly belongs.
The injury might mean that the club will not be signing a contract extension with Ibrahimovic, whose time with the squad runs out this summer, but will be supporting the player with his rehabilitation process, and if sources are to be believed, they will continue doing so post his contract ending.
The striker currently earns £300,000-a-week in England, and was all ready to be offered a wage raise to keep him away from the MLS this summer, but all that seems a dream at the moment, and it is highly probable that one will never see him in an United jersey ever again.
