Joe Hart reportedly wants to stay in Manchester, and is surprisingly open to wearing the famous Red shirt, as per reports.

Manchester United are in a bit of a bother this summer, as they are rumoured to be set to lose one of their most consistent stars in David de Gea. The Spaniard is wanted at the Bernabeu as a replacement for Keylor Navas, and it is reported that Jose Mourinho is ready to let him leave, and is already searching for replacements.

There are not too many options around in this position in the transfer market, but Mourinho has just been presented with an alternative, as the Independent suggest Manchester City outcast Joe Hart is a possible name to replace the Spanish international at Old Trafford.

The first-choice shot-stopper for England at the moment, Hart was pushed out of the Etihad by Pep Guardiola, who decided to spend on Claudio Bravo last summer. Though the Barcelona man has not been able to cement his place in the first team, it is understood that Hart is not in Pep’s plans for next season.

The report adds that Joe Hart, who wants to stay in the North-West, where he has lived since joining Manchester City from Shrewsbury in 2006, is open to swapping shirts within the city. He has been in decent form, playing as the first-choice keeper for Serie A side Torino, but he is now on the lookout for a move back to the Premier League.

Everton are currently favourites to sign the Englishman, as there have been very few players who have switched clubs within Manchester. But with Guardiola not convinced with the 30-year-old’s performances, and Mourinho in desperate search of a shot stopper, Hart moving to Manchester United is not too farfetched an idea.
