Premier League Trio To Fight For Juve’s Dani Alves
English giants Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United are preparing for a transfer battle for the services of Juventus full-back Dani Alves, as per reports.
Dani Alves parted ways with Barcelona to join Juventus as a free agent last summer, and after having experienced a tough start to life in Italy, the right-back has now slotted in perfectly at the Serie A outfit.
In fact, the 34-year-old was the star of the show in Juve’s recent Champions League semi-final clash against AS Monaco, as he bagged two brilliant assists to give his side a 2-0 advantage in the first leg.
The decorated defender’s experience, coupled with his consistently top level performances seem to have attracted the interest of some of the biggest clubs on the continent. And according to Ilbianconero.com, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United will attempt to lure Alves to England in the upcoming transfer window.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea look very much on the verge of winning the Premier League title this season, and the Italian tactician has now set his sights on strengthening his squad for next season’s Champions League campaign.

The Blues are, therefore, looking for reinforcements in every position, and given Dani Alves’ attacking talents down the right, Conte has identified him as the primary candidate for the right-back as well as the right-wingback role.
The Stamford Bridge outfit, however, is set to face stiff competition from Manchester City, as Pep Guardiola looks to take full advantage of his connection with the ex-Barcelona defender to lure him to the Etihad.
Moreover, with the contracts of City full-backs Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy, and Pablo Zabaleta set to expire come summer, the Mancunian club has classified Alves as a high priority signing.
Lastly, Jose Mourinho is also interested in the services of the Brazilian, as Antonio Valencia remains the only established full-back at Manchester United at present.
However, the interest of these Premier League powerhouses may prove to be for naught, due to the fact that Alves is contracted with the Old Lady outfit until the summer of 2018, and Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri could easily keep hold of his star defender until the expiration of the deal.
