Arsenal are ready to go head-to-head with Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Wilfried Zaha this summer.

The London outfit are in the middle of one of their worst seasons under the tenure of Arsene Wenger, and are in danger of missing out of Champions League football for the first time in two decades. They are currently sixth in the table, and cannot afford to drop any more points for the rest of the season if they are to entertain a top-4 finish.

But it is now looking more and more unlikely, and this has seen their transfer targets change as well. A couple of months ago, the Gunners were looking for some of the best players in Europe, but with Champions League slowly slipping away, they have had to adjust their transfer targets.

And according to reports today, they will be completely looking at local talent this summer.

English news outlet The Sun claims that Arsenal are ready to make a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer.

The former Manchester United man has easily been the best player for Palace this season, and is helping them to a decent finish after a mediocre start to the campaign. He is bang in form at the moment, and the Eagles would want £30m to let him leave for the Emirates this summer.

Zaha is also wanted by fellow London outfit Tottenham Hotspur, who seemed to have cooled down their interest, thanks to the asking price of the player.

But it is now understood that Arsenal are ready to meet his asking price, and want him to add to their squad at the Emirates.

Do you think Zaha, who has nine goals and six assists his season in the Premier League, is the right choice for Arsenal?
