Bookies Believe Sergio Aguero’s Shock Transfer From City To United Is Possible
Manchester United are linked with a shock move for Argentine striker Sergio Aguero from Manchester City this summer. The Red Devils are short of attacking talent already, and the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney may also be shown the exit door come the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho is planning vigorously to improve on his squad, and has been linked with a number of superstars recently. But the latest name on the radar of the Portuguese manager is former Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero.
Standing as one of the best finishers in Europe at the moment, Aguero has been a mainstay in the Manchester City lineup every season. However, the form of Brazilian sensation Gabriel Jesus has pushed him down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola.

Aguero has 31 goals and 4 assists to his name this season in all competitions, but Guardiola is looking to add more quality to his attack, and is ready to let arguably City’s greatest striker leave this summer.
And according to leading English news outlet The Times, Aguero could head to noisy neighbours Manchester United. Moreover, The Sun suggested on Sunday that the Old Trafford outfit are planning an official bid of around £55m for his services.
But that is not it. Aguero’s move to Manchester United is also making inroads for betting companies.
The Manchester City striker is just 5/4 to make a controversial switch to arch-rivals United. Ladbrokes spokesman Dave Burin stated (via Express): “Aguero could incur the wrath of the City faithful this summer, with a stunning switch to Mourinho and Man United looking ever more likely.”
It remains to be seen if United actually swoop into the squad at the Etihad for their additions this summer.
