Juventus Join Fabinho Pursuit
Juventus have entered the race to sign Monaco superstar Fabinho, according to trusted journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Along with other young players from the current Monaco squad, Fabinho too, has been attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs on the continent, as his team continues to perform impressively and fight for the Ligue 1 title.
The Brazilian was linked with a major transfer to Manchester United in the 2017 January transfer window, as Jose Mourinho was on the lookout for talented midfield reinforcements to replace Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger, who left the Red Devils for Everton and Chicago Fire respectively.
Despite the transfer not materialising, the Premier League giants remain in the pursuit for the 23-year-old’s signature, and they are expected to submit an improved offer come summer.

However, this time around, United may face stiff competition for the versatile player – who can play as a right-back as well as a defensive midfielder – from Serie A champions-elect Juventus.
As per reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juve have set their sights on Fabinho, and they will look to lure the Brazil international to Turin as soon as the summer window reopens.
“Fabinho, who is valued at around 30 million euros, is being targeted by Juventus as a possible reinforcement for their midfield,” Di Marzio stated on his official website.
He further added, however, that Massimiliano Allegri also has Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso on his radar, and the Italian tactician will apparently turn his attention towards the Frenchman if he fails to, or decides against signing the Monaco starlet.
“Tolisso is still an option, but his potential transfer to Juve is currently on standby. Therefore, as Juventus wait to decide on whether to pursue the Lyon midfielder, Juventus also look towards Fabinho,” the report added.
